STOP THE OVERSATURATION OF POT SHOPS
Pot shops are popping up all over our city. We need to make our voices heard, and PROTECT our local businesses.
We oppose the approval of another Costa Mesa Cannabis Shop and urge the City Council to reverse the Planning Commission's decision at 1505 Mesa Verde Drive East.
Our reasons are clear:

Market Saturation: With 50+ cannabis shops pending in Costa Mesa, adding another only overloads the market.

Proximity to Family Spaces: The location's closeness to Mesa Verde Plaza conflicts with its family-friendly atmosphere.

Harm to Businesses: Existing and future businesses near the shop could suffer.

Regulatory Violation: The shop violates the intent of the 1,000-foot distance rule from youth institutions.

Safety and Traffic Concerns: Opening the shop raises issues of safety, traffic, parking, and security.
